When you can give without expecting anything in return, you have mastered the joy of living. #bekind
I used to manage a gift shop and mugs were the most popular gift item. One can only assume, with that many mugs, that they have must have said "not another bloody mug" quite a few times but kept them anyway just in case the gift giver pops round for a brew x

If I don't fill Tims tea full enough (depends if I have to carry it to him three rooms away), he says "I see the tide's out" 😂

When we redecorated a few years back, we put all the baby photos away of our kids so they only have to endure more recent ones now! I kind of miss those chubby smiles 🥹 I hope your parents are well Mark and you've all had a good Christmas xx

Thanks for sharing this. I can relate although I've not been through a fraction of what this wonderful lady has.

Also (yes me again), I do have to point out that Jane Austen only had six books published. What a lightweight!

I have two copies of Eleven. Both signed. The dog chewed one and the kindly replaced by you copy!

This looks a bit like my special shelf on our bedroom bookcase reserved for all things MW. Also Dan & Sam live there and few other bits. Hubby's shelf contains books about Leeds United and Guy Martin and other heroes. They have room to share a shelf as they haven't put the work in that you have!
