I cannot imagine how hard it is to be young and trans. The vitriol and lies they face is way worse than it was for me coming out.

Some things never change. He was that kind of jerk when he was in the legislature.

I love this story!

That's a sobering thought.

Some of my more cathartic experiences were yelling at motorists not yielding to me when I was walking in the crosswalk - especially when they almost hit me.

Now that 3 AI programs analyzed his Pennsylvania speech last night and determined he has a "profound narcissistic vulnerability", he may change his tune.

WTF?

My god, 19 people in one year in a city of less than a half million people. To me that sounds like a public health emergency.

Craig does not surprise me. She probably thinks it helps her with rural voters, but Morrison is a shocker.

Straight white men, who knew?

She seems to have a black for making enemies.

I don't know about the Hennepin county cops, but the Mpls cops have the most adversarial relationship with everyone they interact with. When everyone is your enemy they can't be trusted so why try to work with them. I'm guessing that's another reason Choi gets results.

Nice try catholic league. Pedophelia is not a sexual orientation, but it's understandable that you would make that argument since you claim the church's child sex abuse problem is the result of letting gay men become priests.

I thought of you when I heard this story. They didn't identify the cause as AGS but it sounded like what I've learned from you.

I love these!

I want to believe they have a good case and it appears they do. I don't trust the judiciary though. All the administration needs to do is appeal to a Supreme Court that is hostile to trans people.

For years, we minority voters were always told we had to vote blue even though their commitment to fighting for our rights was not something they would publicly support because they could lose their elections. Seems they aren't willing to do the same.

The title of this article suggests that the current staffing shortage is responsible, but the article goes back to 2017 to document that advocates have complained for years about the poor MPD response to domestic violence. They have always sucked and now they suck just a little more.

I was coming of age when our country decided all people, not just the white majority, deserved access to all that citizenship offers. I guess the rest of my life may be living the re-emergence of the rule of white men.

This is outrageous but not at all surprising, sadly.

Is MSP declining to play the video? I haven't seen them explicitly mentioned in anything I've read. I hope they aren't.

She was one of the few editorial writers I looked forward to reading. I was wondering why I hadn't seen an article by her in a while. Likewise, with Shelatta, damn.

Ouch, that was embarrassing.
