A Zingerman's Bakehouse Ginger Jump-up Cookie. It was enormous but I ate half. The package has a sticker proclaiming that the cookie is "50%+ Whole Grain"

In his Moving On post, Ari Shapiro talks about keeping the ATC mission posted near his desk.

Here's what I keep posted near my desk.

Thanks, @ari-shapiro.bsky.social, for metaphorically holding my hand every time my research hits a roadblock!

Excited to have this WP out!

We use a real-stakes survey experiment to measure misperceptions about air pollution/health impacts & test whether updating beliefs changes WTP for clean air

We find large misperceptions, but not strong evidence that rectifying these would close Black-White WTP gaps

Agreed; I just selfishly find it more fun to teach when everyone's done the reading.
catiehausman.bsky.social
Fair. I think I *enjoy* the challenge of trying to convert the unenthusiastic.

if i were a student, i would just also ai the second half of this...

i was thinking just a binary completed/not grade; pass it forward and then discuss with neighbor
catiehausman.bsky.social
low-stakes way to start class, we can take a few minutes for them to also share it with their neighbor, easy to grade, more writing practice is always good.
