That’s unfortunate that they disappeared. I only ever saw one Lady Slipper my entire life and it was years ago. It was pink. It too, disappeared just the following year. Perhaps all the invasive or deer have something to do with it. Thx for sharing!

Count me in as long as there is no chance of Canada becoming a Theocracy. I’d love for the fundamentalists to break off and become their own country but leave those of us who want a secular government the hell alone.

The US has waiting lists too or no specialists at all, and we pay a lot more for our out-of-pocket healthcare costs and have to spend time fighting non-payment.

The mediocre white men who are misogynistic and racist would enslave women and people of color if it meant they could squash any ambition that competed with them. I suppose every race and sex is capable and does to some extent uphold the caste system. White men don’t have a monopoly on this.

Evangelical Christians are trouble. They breed fundamentalists and they are violence-prone. America now has Christian fundamentalists within the ranks of government. This is the downfall of the US. I hope it doesn’t happen to all of Canada. They are power-hungry hypocrites.

I get that but many times cities want to rid themselves of empty parking lots. Perhaps talk to your municipal representative. There may even be grants or money set aside for this type of project.

Terribly negative but nevertheless, humorous. Maybe organize a group to get state funding to tear out build raised beds in a parking lot for community garden. I’m sure it’s been done before and I bet there is probably grant money available. If no real desire, It would be a huge undertaking.
