Wrath and Pride are up there for Leonida. She carries the Pride of her people upon her shoulders, and she will not let any look down upon that. But her wrath…it’s all that sustained her for a long time.

Tall woman. Honestly, it’s Leonida’s reliability and quiet endurance. She doesn’t speak much of herself but always supports those around her. But when she does get silly? You know she feels safe enough to let up her pace and stroll with you.

Oh this was real fun. I often forget just how many characters and media have made Leonida. This isn't all of them by half. Kida from Atlantis, Starfire also from DC, a smidge of the Creature from Frankenstein (1818 text). Also the new Wonder Woman run where she's raised by Circe.

I made this game plan a little bit ago. But I have since finished Reverie before the New Year. I’ll likely end up switching something in, but I’m gonna start it all of with FF12.

Just finished Trails into Reverie for the first time and Aidios she’s one of the best Trails games. From narrative structure, plot, character writing and consideration, world building, lore, etc., it’s hard to, right off finishing, put into words how much it hit me.

Genuinely the best gift I got this year was spending time with friends and getting to talk with them and being enjoy so much with them. You are the greatest gift in this difficult year. And also getting many of them into Trails to feed my emotional vampire.

Reverie is absolute peak. Oh my GOD. I can’t leave Act 2. I should. I need to make progress. Just one more game. It’s fine.

Started Reverie, finished Act 1 and and am onto 2, and the way that everything here has bumped up in so many small ways to enhance the experience is well done. I only knew two things going into this game. But I feel so much joy.

I’m not gonna ever be normal about seeing one of my favorite games and stories of all time, with some of my favorite characters in all fiction, getting a remake. That’s my menace of a daughter. Trails in the Sky you will always mean the world to me.

Playing Cold Steel III again, only just reached chapter 2 again, and I’m reminded of how vivid and vital the side characters are to me in this series and Cold Steel specifically. Talking to everyone, checking in on them, doing their side quests, etc. really drives home this series for me.

Leonida has an Aerslaent accent and it’s pretty thick. She’s also tends to first speak louder than she intends due to living most of her life at sea and needing to shout. She’s fluent in common, but she prefers the Roegadyn tongue. She finds common lacks nuance and doesn’t capture her meaning.

Leonida’s hair is pure black with a navy undertone. But she’s got shocks of white from trauma. Before starting her journey in ARR, she used to dye them to keep the visible mark of her history hidden, but has since let them be shown. Some gray is coming into too now.
