They didn't. If you went to their website yesterday, it was one of the most prominent stories they covered. And as this picture of today's print edition shows, it was covered on the front page above the fold.

What in God's name are you talking about? The print edition featured a photograph of the protests on the front page, above the fold--literally at the top. And the banner headline and story cover, and contrast, the protests and the military parade.

They were covered, extensively. The stories were prominent on the website (second only to the assassination in Minnesota) and were part of the banner story on today's print edition. Look for yourself.

I hope so, but let's not ignore this sentence from the article. Overland Park isn't exactly Berkeley but it's a de facto suburb of Kansas City, and that suggests pretty strongly that a lot of people from elsewhere in Kansas traveled to go to this thing.

The *first* housing bubble was under the Bush years. The second housing bubble, which absolutely dwarfed the Bush-era bubble, started at the tail end of the Trump admin and went full-batshit during the Biden administration (with zero acknowledgment from either president).
