With rising egg prices, I'm glad to say I still sell mine for $3 dozen. And if I know you're struggling, they're probably gonna be free. I wish I had enough chickens to supply everyone I know.

I got a juicer today (it was given to me by a neighbor). So far, I've made carrot juice, my chickens got the carrot carcass and I saved out some to put in some bread that I'm baking later.

This is Denise. She is the nosiest hen we have. We raise Bielefelders and I just love them. But Denise does not respect boundaries. Door open? Denise is coming in. Pool open? Denise is coming in. Sand box uncovered? Denise is getting in. Having a weenie roast? Denise is too.
