The camera on my old iPhone couldn’t really capture it, but the moon rising over the ocean looked so pretty when the good boy and I were on our evening walk.

Thrilled to see that Izzy Gomez will be playing in the NPL this season 🤩

(and even more thrilled that she probably won’t be back until after Sydney Uni play Northern Tigers in a couple of weeks because I would not have any fingernails left by the end of that game if she was 😬)

Didn’t think I’d be able to watch this live, but Sydney Uni has it on in the grandstand bar because OF COURSE THEY WOULD 😁 🔵🟡

Sorry for a completely irrelevant addition to this thread, but I just realised you’re a kit enthusiast. My kiddo desperately wants to get the peeling 2 on these shorts restored/fixed. The shorts have significant sentimental value for her, and we’d be so grateful for any advice 🙏

I found this brief novel by Julian Barnes about Shostakovich’s life under Stalin moving and beautifully written. It made me think a lot about the impact of tyranny on artists, and the consequent loss to the world of music and art that was destroyed or simply prevented from existing at all.
