Immersive media, extensive interests. Sporadically opinionated, mildly cynical, rarely offensive, always curious and hungry. Northern and proud.

Acquisition ≠ sovereignty. Surely the status would be illegally occupied? Strongly suggest it'd remain unrecognised by most countries c.f. Baltics during USSR; Palestinian occupied territories, Crimea & other occupied oblasts post 2014. Can't see Greenlandic or Danish gov changing position any way…

🌶️ Prashad. Another northern powerhouse, and older relative of the afore-mentioned Bundobust. Started in Bradford, now in the village of Drighlington between Leeds, Bradford and Batley. Legendarily good Gujarati food. Always worth a detour or dedicated trip to. www.prashad.co.uk
Welcome To Prashad Drighlington - Indian Vegetarian Cuisine
Handed down by generation upon generation, we take our food heritage and put our own twist on the recipes, creating something at once traditional and new.

🌶️ Lily's, a long-standing Manchester institution for over 50 years. Makes a visit to nearby Ikea in Ashton-under-Lyne a treat rather than a chore. lilysindianvegetarian.co.uk

🌶️ Bundobust, if you're ever in Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool. Utterly stellar, dependable veggie south Asian food alongside great craft beers. Doesn't take itself too seriously… but is *very* serious about creating consistently good product. A northern gem. bundobust.com/about-us/

Tibetan and Nepalese, yes. Never come across anywhere describing themselves as Bhutanese but may be worth reaching out to Tibetan and Nepali places in case they have any specialist knowledge of Bhutanese cuisine.

The future is community-run period cinemas like the glorious period Hebden Bridge Picture House. Digital projection & sound but still brimming with character. Short film runs. Food limited to some locally-made cake and a few retro but welcome sweets, plus a small but well-curated drinks selection.

Tidy. OWC kit is great quality. I've been using a brace of ANYOYO enclosures (with optional fan turned off) for the last year but I'd definitely consider one of these in future.
