I am very early into Gen-X, so almost there as a boomer. I look back at what I got through life. Free higher education, supported with a small grant. Final salary pension when I started work. House prices that were affordable, even with 90s interest rates, and look at what my children are facing.

I think there are some high profile people that make comments like drop the coffee & avocados. Like anything the rest of the group get tarred with the same brush.

I note the little uptick in household income at the end. I can't help but wonder if that's grown up adults who can't afford to move out, so their income is in their parent's household?
