i think the (false) paradox of "the cozy game" is that it's far more memorable when there are elements of weirdness / unknowns / uncertainty in the world to it, like how early animal crossing neighbours were kinda mean sometimes and sims 1 is sorta creepy sometimes. the friction of consciousness

addition to this is that it can feel better when you feel your actions and choices actively influence the world around you, whether its through the gameplay mechanics or through the story. it's not required for every game, of course, but it does feel better than a "number go up" kind of game IMO

sometimes the channel Virtual Gaming Library is unable to get footage of games for whatever reason but i'm glad that the only footage they could get of the zorori eyetoy game for the ps2 is done by someone in full fursuit

its well known as a "so bad its good game". i've been told its best played on the original 360 version (backwards compat on xbone works too)
