this was a lot of fun, i really enjoyed drawing the patterns and effects on the tentacles :> your sona is cute as a button
a humanoid shaped person but where the head should be is instead an eyeball held in place with eight white teeth and surrounded by eight tentacles. the tentacles have swirling patterns of various blues, purples and greens. they are wearing a pair of glasses over their eye and blushing while waving. they are wearing a fluffy off white coat with a black shirt on underneath that is implied to say "shirt" on it in white text as a joke based off the reference image lol. they are also wearing a long black skirt that goes down to their feet, which are wearing red crocs cause i wasn't sure what to draw here (i can change this if you want oomfie). their hands are made up of five individual tentacles each.

my buddy hotpocket told me to read the manual instead and this intro to the mechanics explanation is 1,000x funnier than any mind at shmupwiki could write. "hellsinker is a game about shooting enemies. you can avoid killing some of them. you can walk across the entire screen, and don't die."
Game Summary Shooting and destroying the targets, or not shooting them. Dodging the things they shoot, or not dodging them. Running up close, or staying far away. Sticking to the bottom of the screen, or going all the way to the top. Regardless of the player's movements, the player character is always facing upwards. It may be advantageous to take a certain route across the screen or hide in a certain place at times, so careful planning will yield results. Successfully reaching the end of a segment is a breakthrough, and reaching the end of segment 8 is a game clear. Being hit by the enemies' bullets results in losing lives, and losing all your lives means game over.
