academic dumpster baby

all thoughts and opinions are my own
picture a scenario where i download this image, go post it to some reddit with completely different text spreading positive misinformation abt insitutions, the words "art has always been accessible" are dangerous to be playing with.

how you all willfully midunderstand me is genuinely astonishing 😭
February 12, 2026 at 3:59 PM
and you obviously don't know how to read the words intended and misinterpret 😃

thinking you're bettter than it doesn't magically make your actions any different than the ai you claim to hate so much.

the relation is that BEFORE ai, accessibility had a different diologue, and that cannot be simply erased from everyones minds because a new context has arrived.
February 12, 2026 at 11:21 AM
you don't understand my point but regurgitated it back to me perfectly. the privatized art world has locked the arts AWAY from people, not opened up. i am saying some of the most important and influental art forms in existence, are quite litterally, by DEFINITION, not accessible anymore.
February 12, 2026 at 10:59 AM
since pretty much all of you seen incapable of listening, before i block i'd like to publically put it out there, all privatization is bad. including ai. i never said a single thing that was even close to defending ai but you all jump to those conclusions to do EXACTLY what you claim i am.
February 12, 2026 at 10:54 AM
last thoughts, certain anti-ai sentiment is becoming a red flag for me. many seem to be making that issue their entire personalities and i am clashing heads with people who don't agree that we shouldn't be inventing new types of racism or understand confirmation bias.
February 12, 2026 at 10:52 AM
yk, liberals having an obssesion with "the right" thing is so fucking funny and now i'm upset i never used that line before i gained enough self respect to see how pathetic i'm being.
February 12, 2026 at 10:48 AM
i realize it is a problem with me if that is the way i'm conveying it, but i cannot make it any less frustrating when real issues i am trying to bring to artist's attention get muted out by those who can't concieve that accessibility in art had nothing to do with AI until about 4 years ago.
February 12, 2026 at 10:36 AM
my point is that accessibility has been a highly erased aspect of art, and most people seem to want to find any reason to not recognize that here.

it's a legitmate problem i see regularly in the art world, and then i get told i'm devil's advocating for..??? careful language used in art..?????
February 12, 2026 at 10:31 AM
i tried to bring up that the arts are inaccessible when they are increasingly privatized, and got told that african slaves still learned tactile arts and it is just like. mindnumbing. watching someone i am going to safely assume is very white take that leap with no ounce of self awareness.
February 12, 2026 at 5:54 AM
i am learning more and more there is this constant obsession with limiting accessibility when referring to it.

people who are not impoverished or disabled do not fucking compute that it has purpose beyond an inconvenience to them.

so "accessibility" is the bare minimum propped up as a trophy.
February 12, 2026 at 5:49 AM
again, willfully mishearing. you are erasing the voices that have been litterally stolen and kept in bunkers so you can feel good about feeling right about something. feel bad for anyone who trusts you to actively listen. have a good one.
February 12, 2026 at 5:33 AM
as you continue on this thread of trying to make some point against mine, you fail to realize i work around stuff like this every day and it is why i said what i said.

items like this were stolen from them, and put on pedestals, and then art schools were born. it was a problem, and it still is.
February 12, 2026 at 5:29 AM
you all willfully mishear me and it's litterally lines of text. i'm done trying to get any of you to realize you need to be careful with language, because i don't think you are going to be listening close enough for my point to make any difference. 😭
February 12, 2026 at 5:26 AM
specifically stuck on the detail of the obssesion with erasing all traces of paganism.

there is genuine magic in poetry, and ritual. that sounds quacky but that is litterally the state of us trying to understand physics rn babes.

we are learning the universe is quite litterally a song.
February 12, 2026 at 4:42 AM
really thinking about the french catacombs, the orcs being "born from the earth", the negligent opulunce of every opposing leader in lotr. the two trees of valinor, recognition of other realms, and our own reflections.

taught to us as myth, but written secretly as history.

so many questions.

my favorite part is even if they are storing all of this actively and personally it means anyone who reads it will stay awake at night sweating and shaking knowing their reckoning is already in motion and no amount of silencing me can stop it, i'm only noticing what started 100 years ago :3
