i once, for reasons i can't explain but thank heavens for, turned on my bedside lamp before doing the same thing, and there was a large centipede in my glass that 100% would have been in my mouth if i hadn't turned the light on. this was more than 20 years ago and it still haunts me.

not a water rower so i can't speak to that experience, but for at home fitness, i love my Hydrow. i'm coming up on a year of rowing every day except when i was on vacation (during which time i still did their on the mat classes from my phone!).
