I'm sure that a lot of Americans are still in denial that they are living under a fascist regime. Cognitive dissonance is a powerful thing. Obviously they are also some who understand. They are the resistance.

Yet factual.

I'm pretty sure that American soldiers would not hesitate to fire on American citizens if ordered to. They're conditioned to obey orders, not disobey them.
January 18, 2026 at 4:09 AM
The result of the intentional dumbing down that's been going on since Reagan was president.
January 18, 2026 at 4:06 AM
American soldiers are as obedient as Nazis. They will do whatever Trump orders them to do.

Projection, distraction to get a reaction. To take your attention miles from Epstein files.

I agree in that sense. But the United States might help them if they attack Europe.
January 18, 2026 at 12:53 AM
At the end of all this insanity, the United States won't be left with a single friend or ally with the possible exception of Russia.
January 18, 2026 at 12:46 AM
The American military will obey any orders given by Trump illegal or not. They already illegally invaded Venezuela for example.
January 17, 2026 at 10:10 PM
Knowing all that, it becomes increasingly clear that Trump is deliberately trying to break up the NATO alliance in order to benefit Russia.

Good news for those of us who travel as well. Merci.

I'm astonished by the fact that so many Americans don't understand that simple fact that they pay the tariffs, not other countries.
January 17, 2026 at 7:50 PM
It appeared in fact that the host did agree in this case.
January 17, 2026 at 7:45 PM
Given the fact that Trump has no respect for laws or treaties, he is likely to act unilaterally despite the terms of any treaty. That's why the United States is no longer trusted anywhere in the world.
January 17, 2026 at 7:18 PM
"Unlike Donald Trump.... who will not submit to being his servants". Not embarrassed, Republicans? You pathetic wimps.
January 17, 2026 at 6:51 PM
If by "we" you mean Americans, you're absolutely right. It will collapse the economy and make Americans unwelcome everywhere.
January 17, 2026 at 6:26 PM
"It will be due until such a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland".
In other words, forever. It's never going to happen.
January 17, 2026 at 6:24 PM
Excellent. I'm sure that Americans, and particularly Trump supporters, will be delighted to pay the extra taxes. What better use is there of their money? And Europe will increase trade with China and other countries.
January 17, 2026 at 6:19 PM
A few things are certain. If Trump attacks Greenland, the military will be obeying illegal orders to attack an ally. Europe will respond by closing every military base in Europe. Then they will cash in all American bonds and kick out all American corporations. Trump can't possibly win this.
January 17, 2026 at 6:15 PM
John F. Kennedy once said that when peaceful protest becomes impossible, violent revolution becomes inevitable. Republicans might want to take note of that.
