A frosty Christmas Eve lies in store, and our salting crews are currently out on duty, treating over 500km of priority routes. Remember, salting is not a guarantee that 'normal' speeds can be achieved so please slow down and drive according to the conditions.

Following a road traffic collision on the N3 south of Virginia (on the Dublin side of the Tirlan facility), the road is closed in both directions for the present. Diversions will be put in place but motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible

HGVs are advised to avoid the L7004 at Lismeen/Lattagloghan as there is a damaged telecom pole that protrudes out into the road at a height that may be a hazard for any HGVs travelling the road. Cars can pass safely. Traffic should approach with caution.
