Since Target announced the end of its DEI efforts, I haven't set foot in the Target store that's less than a mile from my house. On the other hand, I've shopped every other week at the Costco that's 10 miles from my house. DEI is good for business and good for our country.

I've been wondering about who might emerge as an inspirational and aspirational leader of a people-powered democracy movement. We need more people like Kenyatta to ignite a fire of resistance and action. However, I think this may best come from outside the traditional Dem party. Hope springs eternal
