some people don’t like my moon photo. “can’t see moon details” etc, blah. i refer to that poem about not being god, but god’s shadow on earth providing proof of god. this photo is the shadow of the moon
my picture of the moon from last night. quiet street. trees along it. moon is a white blob in the sky slightly ran through by powerlines cutting across it. the moon is right above a street sign with arrows pointing left and right bathed in a street light only illuminating this section of the street. didn’t have space to fully type it, but the poetry i was trying to reference was from a half remembered thing i read in a book about islamic art that i sneak read a decade ago when i should have been doing something else. the writing talked about the author wanting to be like the shadow of allah. not a representation of allah, but a shadow. in the same way a shadow of me isn’t an exact representathon of me, but the silhouette could help you understand the basic for m of me. that concept stuck with me, and i think about it alot. so what i’m saying with this is that my moon photo isn’t an accurate depiction of the moon, but it helps you understand how impressive the moon was. i guess kind of also like that picasso quote i love where he said, “art is the lie that helps you understand the truth.” this moon photo is a lie. but, it helps you understand how sick the moon was

last week on the show i forgot to include this drawing the staff here at kave tv made. it’s of a human headed horse bodied creature riding two skateboards. pumped to talk about big foot tomorrow. we’re we able to find a big foot story that was unique to our small town of carlsbad, new mexico? yeah.
