I think they have lost their humanity somewhere and so when they actually see a community and are faced with criticism it's alien and orchestrated. Rather than a response to their fuckery

I do wonder if it's because this means they are "winning". People like to be comfy, looking at what's going on in the USA and most countries is very uncomfy. So I imagine they focus on the winning and it doesn't matter everything will get worse because they are on the winning side
