It’s such a creative idea for something so badly needed - I would think a niche biz could’ve started making 3D printed masks. The consumer electronics biz really makes it hard for elderly/sight-impaired, especially with multiple remotes often required. 1/2

Not a likely scenario currently on the US borders, but playing out in Ukraine - RUS drones are hella cheaper and faster to build than the US Patriot system missiles that can take them out

“exquisite weapons” - the expensive, sophisticated systems that can indeed kill drones - but at a 100:1 cost ratio. An enemy could eventually win with the masses of cheap drones. 2/

From a purely military perspective, and Silverman can correct me, there is a need for anti-aircraft weapons that don’t require a lot of expensive bullets (missiles) to kill…such as directed-energy systems. Needed to counter large numbers of cheap drones that could exhaust stocks of 1/
