US imperialism is an evil, existential threat to life itself. I try to avoid just piping in to tweet that something is bad unless I can offer something *actionable*, but as ways to help emerge I'm going to try to keep this thread updated with those ways. My heart is breaking for Venezuelans

I feel like talking to people really depends on how well you can click with someone. I struggle talking to most people so I appreciate the times when I can genuinely have a conversation with someone.

it's one thing to say "hey we don't want kids to look at porn". it is a different and much, much stranger thing to say "fundamentally, the list of things on planet earth that are regarded as 'Seriously Valuable' changes on your 18th birthday"

earnest question: if this bill passes w/ no changes (other than fixing that comma insertion), then doesn't that mean someone is going to have to go to court to figure out whether there exists such a thing as a work that ONLY has "serious artistic value" *for adults*? how would you prove that???
