i’m so sorry. usually, the @acm-sigchi.bsky.social @chi.acm.org social media chairs are obliged notify the equity chairs (or whatever they are called now), if they’re not already monitoring social media themselves. year over year, it’s hard to know who’s doing what. session chairs need to be better.

it *should* be a standard part of what session chairs ask presenters: what name should i use, how do i address you, etc etc. it’s so basic and this is disappointing.

i love the questions that are like, “why didn’t you do something completely different?”
