Since not having to give a fuck about what people outside the real think seems the point, leave aside my hope for you and my regret at not seeing future cool posts.

And a parting fact: you created and sustained understanding here--I'm a better friend to trans folks because of you.

Public gambling (the lottery) is famously a tax on people who won't do math. Now, after lotteries normalized the concept, private gambling enterprises scale this thing, making it seem important for society (because the advertising is everywhere). And also, the advertising is EVERYWHERE and it sucks.

Type "-ai" in your Google search. You'll likely thank me. Hat tip to my friend Susan.

I picked it up because the claims of the fundamentalists and christian nationalists about things biblical seem over accepted. The book has helped me think I could armor myself more in the face of their BS. It is not academic but has a lot of scripture. It is not crude but doesn't pull punches

I'm an Episcopalean (Junior Varsity Catholicism?) and have been back in church about a year. The book is boisterous but not disrespectful. I'm listening to it read by the author. There's a lot of how to, but I can't say that I know where he is on his faith journey. It comes across as informed. 1/

In the middle of Separation of Church and Hate. Irreverent but carefully researched takedown of bible beater nonsense. Do battle with christian nationalists and fundamentalists on their own turf, about which few of them are knowledgeable.
