Our son was born early on Thanksgiving in 2001, 26 weeks, 1 lb 15 oz. He dodged all odds. Duke NICU was phenomenal. He just turned 23 years old yesterday--we ate steak and watched Gladiator II for his birthday. Such a miracle and we are grateful every day for the Duke nurses and doctors.
