I get there are these types of challenges with construction projects, but I hate seeing this. While I’m no Ottawa “fanbase” advocate, asking their supporters to travel 5 hours for a “home game” is ridiculous.

That entire group will be on a knife edge. It’s possible they could get out of the group, but it’s far from a lock.

If they do move to Lamport Stadium, based on it being in the area of Liberty Village and a capacity of 9600, it’s going to rival Halifax’s game day vibe on day one.

I think this game summed up the maturity level that the National team has achieved over the last number of years. Early adversity with the red card and rather than self implode, they got on with the job. This team is ready to do something special.

Completely agree. A few more years, some maturity and I think he’s going to come through as a very solid player.

FC Supra would be a logical landing spot then. I did think that when he came on in limited minutes, he provided an edge that some of the more senior players were lacking. Give him a more experience in the league, he could be a diamond. Would like to see him back in HFX, but we’ll see.

I’d take him back on the @hfxwanderersfc.bsky.social in a heartbeat. Loved his attitude and his play was improving. Get this kid resigned!

Same take as others,the expectations are higher this season and to be fair,they should be. The club is capable of beating any team,but our road form against the top teams is shaky at best. We need a playoff game at the Grounds for nothing else than to give confidence to the players and fans.
