Inuyama Castle. 1 of 5 all original "National Treasure" castles of Japan and the oldest still standing. We saw Himeji 2 years ago and will see Matsumoto in a few weeks.

Had fun at the Tokyo Pride in Yoyogi Park. Many great Japanese companies were joined by familiar global brands like Morgan Stanley, MAC, unilever, Hilton & Marriott. [Visit]Malta, Thailand, Taiwan and Diplomats for Diversity (Germany, Canada, N Zealand, Ireland, Australia, Belgium +) had booths.

Now is still a good time to visit Japan. Yes, prices are a little higher than 2 years ago, but the exchange rate is still in our favor. This lunch set at Yoshinoya, a Japanese chain, was 968 yen or under $7 usd.

What a innovative way to preserve urban history! Linked between the Landmark and The Queen Towers is the No. 2 Drydock. Within the walls is a ring of small restaurants and offices.

Shonan Enoshima monorail. Other than theme parks, I think this is the first overhead monorail that I have ridden. The swinging and hilly terrain made it seem like a theme park ride. Even had a few tunnels through hills.

Today we had my birthday lunch on the waterfront in Yokohama. Journied to the Sankeien Gardens which opened in 1906 and includes historic homes and shrines moved from other parts of Japan.
Over 20k steps in so I had 2 bday desserts! Lol

Day trip to Kamakura. Explored a Buddhist Temple with bamboo forest and Shinto shrine. Not pictured are many snacks from the shopping streets

Transfered to a hotel in Yokohama, Japan. Looking forward to getting to know this beautiful city in the next 9 days. Our first visit, 2 years ago was only a few hours, but first impression was magical.

In Tokyo and we took the metro to Chofu, home of many historic Shinto Shrines, Buddhist temples and gardens. A very quiet, peaceful pocket in the Tokyo Metropolitan area.

One of our all-time favorite walks in nature. The Catwalk in Whitewater Canyon. Gila National Forest in New Mexico. Even with the foliage still in winter dormancy, it is still enchanting.

Visiting Silver City, NM. We lived here for about 8 years and still feels like hometown. Pictures are in The Big Ditch park where we were legally married in 2016.
