There are capitalistic ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, like taxing them so the externalities are factored in by companies, but oil and gas companies are so successful at lobbying that the vast majority of elected Republicans have decided to pretend climate change isn't happening.

Office Space is an old/middle-aged people movie, and it was in 1999. It just happens to also be funny to younger people.

Reagan, since his policies led to the conditions that led to MAGA and Trump.

The bill also bans majors that have too few students graduating with that degree. Seems strange Data Analytics wouldn't have enough, but maybe those students choose computer science instead and just take data analytics courses.

Clinton wasn't chosen by super delegates, though, she just won more overall. If you want to blame the system, then blame closed primaries.
April 23, 2025 at 11:49 PM
That's true, although I feel that wasn't heavily used on SNES.
April 18, 2025 at 4:26 PM
What buttons does a SNES controller have that a single Joy-con doesn't?
April 18, 2025 at 2:18 PM
Most likely not. It has historically been difficult for girls and low-support needs kids/adults to get diagnosed, but that's changed somewhat. There is also some evidence that father's age can contribute.
April 18, 2025 at 2:17 PM
Each Joy-con is essentially one SNES controller. It may still be more expensive even accounting for inflation, but that is important to keep in mind.

I would say yes to Morrigan Crow and no to Rick Riordan. It's not bad, but the writing style is more juvenile, and to me, the first book seemed geared more specifically towards middle school boys.

How are video games connected to TB?

In this case, it sort of does since the whole point was whether Whitmer was misjudging what people who voted for her in 2022 want. But yeah, the problem is primaries have shown one thing while many people have feelings/anecdotal evidence that supports a different conclusion.
April 11, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Are you from MI?
April 11, 2025 at 5:13 PM
Without a date, and without knowing who they were polling, and whether they were including 3rd parties, that's completely out of context and pretty useless. That aside, it's still pretty meaningless because roughly 12% was still undecided, and polls consistently underestimated Trump's popularity.
April 11, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Do you have any evidence to back up that claim? Whitmer has won in MI. Bernie didn't even win the 2020 primary there, and it was just him versus Biden.
April 11, 2025 at 4:51 PM
She works in a state for which manufacturing has been important and that voted for Trump. She can't just be Trump bad all the time like AOC and Bernie who don't represent purple or manufacturing states.
April 11, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Did you look up the history of fencing to determine whether that is true in this case?
April 10, 2025 at 4:09 PM
That's true, although it does seem like strength was the reason in this case.

That's true, but I was just thinking about averages between men and women.
April 10, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Did you find a reason elite levels were segregated? I can't see strength differentials mattering for fencing, but I guess maybe arm length/height could matter.

Honestly, Warren staying in the race hurt Sanders more than Buttigieg's voters going to Biden.
March 28, 2025 at 7:44 PM
They were running in the same lane as Biden, and they weren't getting a huge percentage of the vote, except for Buttigieg in IA, so dropping out made sense. They were just dividing the moderate vote that had always been there.
March 28, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Is there actually any evidence that Clyburn was unduly pressured to endorse? One article I found said that Clyburn wanted to endorse Biden, but he needed something to base it on, which ended up being the pledge to appoint a black woman SC justice.
