Celan will always be relevant in talking about the wound of genocide on language & memory. Relevant because the wound can't be healed. Threading Darwish into the translation can be a bridge across languages.

My condolences to anyone who knew Malcolm Margolin. I never had the pleasure of chatting with him. I met him very briefly long ago at my last job. I'm proud to be a part of his legacy at Heyday, even a little bit.

he said in a speech last year, "Publishing is a glorified ice cream shop."💖
