Me in my 20s and 30s: Democrats and Republicans are all the same. None of them are looking out for regular people.
Me from 2015 to 2024: Oh holy shit, the Republicans are clearly evil. The Democrats are so much better.
Me the last 3 months: Oh, my bad. I was right before. Jk, jk, we're fucked.

Oh, is the leopard about to eat your face now too? Now you have something to say about leopards? Interesting.

I used to say the thing I loved about graduations was relationships can end. Jobs can be taken away. But a degree rightfully earned can never be lost. I guess that's another thing that's not true anymore.

I don't know if these specific individuals should stay or go. I don't know anything about the two-century old laws being invoked. All I know is I am so fucking sick of the childish, petty cruelty. Where have all the grownups gone?

@padilla.senate.gov Vote no on the Republicans' budget. A yes vote will not prevent a government shutdown. The government is shutting down already. Do not give it your stamp of approval with a yes vote.

I'd like to say I gave up Amazon because of employee rights or environmental impact or corporate power in the US. I should have years ago for all those reasons. But problematic as those are, honestly they never overcame the convenience. But the WaPo decisions since November were my breaking point.

We need to care about and talk about this more. It doesn't feel as urgent, but it is a blatant attack on one of the most fundamental aspects of the Constitution.

@bera.house.gov Your censure vote for Rep Green is shameful. He was the only Dem in attendance with the courage to stand up for us.
March 6, 2025 at 11:22 PM
@algreen.house.gov Thank you for being the only Dem making the noise that needs to be made. I wish I was in your district to vote for you, but instead I will be donating. Thank you for being a true leader, not just a politician.

I am so ashamed of my country today. I do not think we can rehabilitate our global reputation in my lifetime after today.

@padilla.senate.gov You need to get a lot more vocal and a lot more active about stopping Elon Musk. I understand the Dems don't have the votes to make change, but you could at least make noise and make news
