On December 6th, flags across Canada are at half mast to commemorate the women killed in Montreal at École Polytechnique. Gender-based violence in Canada still requires our attention and dedication, perhaps more than ever, and community-based research is vital in these efforts.

It is a beautiful day today as we walked as a group in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We are glad to be part of a community that takes the time to carry out these important and healing actions. Thank to everyone who came out, from University of Waterloo and the community!
