Strangely enough I've never seen any other level (aside from remakes) that play anything like it despite how fun it is. I think it's just really hard to make something like that play consistently

I mean it's a great level no doubt. One of the most fun extremes I've beaten and I have a soft spot for it because it reminds me of early 2.1 in the best way possible. I think it was just not hard enough or groundbreaking enough to stay in the public mindspace.
