Hit a creative roadblock, so I took a stroll through the frosty air. The sound of snow crunching beneath my feet was just what I needed to get my imagination flowing again. Perhaps it was the picturesque bridge over the brook, or the frozen waterfall at the lake's edge. Either way, the spark back!

Just finished the first six chapters of Utopia Sucks. The story is taking some fascinating turns. Note to self: biochips from town elders are a hard pass.

This morning, I woke to an ethereal landscape at the Aerie. Perhaps the weather is somehow aware of what I have planned for today. I’m currently finishing up an intense chapter for my work-in-progress, Utopia Sucks…might have to send a character to a watery grave…dun. dun. DUN!

Found this little guy on my 16-degree ℉ walk down by the Ohio River this morning. Fun fact: my debut book starts out not too far downriver from here…just, you know, a thousand-ish years in our future.
