Why don't we ban whole categories of vehicles when they're used (to quote Justin Trudeau) to kill "the largest amount of people in the shortest amount of time."
ie. the van attack in Toronto
Answer: b/c it's not the vehicle (or gun, or tool), it's the person who does the killing that is to blame.

Ask yourself, where is the effort to go after criminal use of firearms? Illegal possession of firearms?

This isn't about men, women, police, etc... This is about citizens being able to protect themselves and take action when dangerous threats present themselves. Period.
