I am not a sellout. Never have been. Goodbye because you don’t know me and I don’t wish to wallow in negative thinking. Life IS harsh, and there are many problems but I do the best that I can to make my choices. MY choices. Good luck with yours. Yes, we NEED prison reform, & lock up too many.

There was no WAY the Dems could stop passage because they are outnumbered in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The bill passed because the GOP had more votes FOR it than DEM members could possibly vote NAY in order to STOP passage. Then the President signed it into law eventually

Not quite the same . Today GOP voted NOT to extend ACA subsidies for medical care. As you know, ACA was passed under Obama and the Democrats, and has made insurance possible for many millions of working people.

Get “Citizens United” big, dark money out of our politics. That CAN be done and must be done by organized voters. There are BIG differences between the GOP and the Dems; it is becoming more obvious. Working with Democrats makes sense because they LIKE helping everyday people. GOP not so much.

And Bill didn’t go to college, didn’t NEED to so he didn’t study Agriculture BUT he has redeeming qualities: ❤️ Help to the African people’s health by giving a lot of Gates (B+M) money and time to that. I try to see people as a WHOLE, warts and all, and ask if I’m comfortable with the bits I know.

I don’t like the fact that Cuellar was indicted, but not tried in court and was Trump-pardoned before a jury could be seated or decide if he’s guilty or not. It left WE the people NOT KNOWING. 😡

True that BUT THOSE PEOPLE ARE DEAD AND WE CAN DO BETTER TODAY IF the political will of Congress will give a damn NOW. The GOP represents the oil and the gas and the big money. They ARE embedded in the fossil fuel underground and formed their power long ago. The PEOPLE would like to have PROGRESS!
