I love the US, or used to anyway, and have so many memories of driving down to Florida every year in the 70's, then to Disney for my kids' spring break in the middle 90s to mid 2000s. Now, with Trump, I'm thinking of protecting my family and Country against invasion. Not sure which weapons to buy!🤔

I just needed a bit of positivity in my life, and that is that spring is just around the corner and that my maples are tapped and the sap is flowing. Doesn't take much to make a Canadian happy.

Here is a picture of strawberries from Florida that I took yesterday at my grocery store. I've never seen strawberries so cheap especially at this time of the year. They're not selling. I can understand why some folks with tight budgets might get them, and that's OK. Generally speaking, they'll rot.

My uncle fought and died at 21 years of age while liberating Holland to make sure we wouldn't have to deal with fascism again.... but here we are! He's buried at the Holten Canadian Memorial Cemetery. My daughter visited and brought flowers to his grave. ❤️
