Retired lawyer; husband; father; and, I am hopeful, friend of the Constitution. Resist Trump, even when it feels futile. We have a Golden Retriever, and she’s smarter than Orange Moron.
Fifteen years of complaining about the ACA, and they don’t know what to do. In their zeal to divide and rule, they forgot how to govern.

other assets on or in the ground of one of the treaty aspirants. Peace equals delivering a mediator bully to the Czar. So no, inexperienced, super conflicted, rapacious no-nothings as diplomats simply hurts the participants, and shames the nation styling itself as the fair-handed mediator.

They require, when mediated to conclusion or signing by a third-party, a lack of conflicts of interest and ulterior motives on the part of the mediator. Trump is famously transactional. Peace equals a Peace Prize. Peace equals access to rare earths and minerals and

International agreements are contracts, complicated agreements concerning land, people, protections, remedies in the event of breach, and the like. These take time, empathy and clear-eyed understanding.

Read the article. Ugh.

As the article notes, most or all of these "successes" have unraveled in one way or another, and that may well be because of the flimsy underlying diplomacy, a problematic or non-existent "meeting of the minds," etc.

I've always thought that Rudolph was the poster child of "eww, he looks different; let's ostracize him." Even his father is like a bad parent when his kid comes to him and says, "Dad, I'm gay, do you still love me?" And Dad is a dick. All until they realize Rudolph has something they need....

Another episode of Tom Nichols's cable show, The Death of Expertise? It's been great having Witkoff flounder around playing at diplomacy and looking for good deals for Trump, and their children. Against a longtime Czar and former KGB operative. Yeah, terrific.

Yes, candidate choice depends, at least to some degree, on location and the electorate there. This is why Talarico might be the best choice for a statewide office in Texas: his religious chops are absolutely real. He is in fact progressive, but it is tempered with compassion rather than fire.

Always a little concerned about his speed, keeping up with the wings. But he played a nice match today, and his work rate was admirable.

I think Florian is finally finding his feet. His adjustment to the PL is actually a tribute to the league, after tearing up the Bundeslige last season.
