Yea, super cool image. I know Saturn has a crazy powerful magnetic field (compared to Earth) so that may have something to do with it?

It is an electromagnetic phenomenon called an aurora. We have them on earth as well (aurora borealis). It’s caused by charged particles interacting with our magnetosphere and certain gasses in the upper atmosphere if I’m not mistaken.
