Just spit balling: Why established measures are not always better than starting from scratch. Finding problems by testing questionnaires with someone new to it, maybe have them find the problem in bad questions.

Do you think there are places where it should be used? Like in data describing the sex of infants or in reporting stats about larger groups for healthcare (along with gender identity) or in countries where being trans is illegal?
