This is a left leaning site so I'm not going to stir a hornet's nest of emotional people listing things that may trigger some people. Just understand Trump being president is the result of those policies and now we all have to suffer because of it. I would prefer we not do this every 4 years

You really need to read both of my posts I never said anything about Democrats or Republicans. I said hard swings to the Left and Right. The truth is we are not a one size fit all country no matter how much either side tries to make it seem.

Then after the midterm when they win to make them permanent when they get power back. It's like they love the idea of showing a fight than face reality and admit they really can't do anything and need the people to return power to them so they can get things done. Mamdani is smartly doing it right.

Dems are minority with Zero power army the moment and need Republican support to get any of their bills passed and signed into law. They only have 2 options work with Republicans or win the mid terms where they have more power. It's crazy not to help the American people in the short term with a 1 yr

I've read so many delusional comments on here and it's hard trying to understand if you guys realized how bill works. She is right in this case. Regardless of how you feel personally. 3 years is never going to pass the House, Senate, or get signed by Trump. 1 year probably will.

Yea I get it. Prop 50 just gives the governor the power to use the new maps until 2030. I did state that I don't think Cali will do it though. It's just an option if Texas did theirs is what I was trying to relay. Newsom is a smart guy

Interesting, well that's a great option to have. That was how Newsom explained it when he announced it though. Regardless it's great for Dems.

I think that prop 50 would go into effect if Texas went through with theirs. So I don't think Cali will do it if Texas is not allowed.

The hardest thing for any person in life is to admit they were wrong and try to prove it to people who may or may not ever accept them. I would advise you to just stay true to yourself and who you are. Trying to prove things to people is a waste of time. Imo, I honestly think you are sincere.

Why are you guys so hell bent on shitting on people when it's irrelevant. A lot of people here are too emotional to see when things are in their favor regardless where it comes from. Victory is won on strategy not emotions. Take the W's however they come.

This is exactly what Dems should not do, they need to let the chips fall where they fall. No need to inject themselves and unite them again. The Dems problem has always been trying to police every thing the Republicans do which always ends up benefitting the GOP in the end.

I think Jasmine Crockett gave them a playbook the other day when she talked about why the Dems never released the files. These people weren't smart enough to create an active investigation to prevent the files from being released on their own. They will take any edge they can though

I'm not aware of civics not being taught in school. I have an 11 year old middle schooler that knows about the branches of government etc. I'm not sure what the OP or the SCJ is talking about honestly. If people are not retaining it is a totally different story
