How is it legally ok for him to say this when there has been no investigation yet?? Like if the officer ends up being charged has he not now prejudiced any trial? Is there still rule of law in America now, serious question?!

I heard this, it was utterly pathetic. They're obviously too scared of trump now he's threatened to sue them to do any proper journalism. Just don't cover the story at all FFS that would probably be better.

Imagine this case, with this evidence plus post mortem, witnesses, ballistics, etc, shown in a court to decide if there was an imminent threat of death to that agent. There's just no way. It has to go to court.

If there are deeply conflicting accounts then all the more reason for this to go to trial where evidence is examined by experts in great detail and a conclusion (conviction) is made on that basis. Any doubt whatsoever there should be an arrest surely?
January 8, 2026 at 11:28 PM
So assuming they'll conclude there was no problem here can Americans take our civil suits for murder?
January 8, 2026 at 11:13 PM
Yes I've already done that, it makes it worse, the shots were after the car was in front of the agents. She was shot as she drove away.

In this video she was already dead, which is why she crashed into a pole. That is after the shooting

I think labour will do exactly the same. How politically feasible is it for the same party in one part of the UK to offer paid tuition, prescriptions etc but not in the other?

I remember the GMS report on the newly released research that concluded MUP had been a success and should be raised - GMS approach was to focus on it not reducing crime and any other 'failures', getting in an 'expert' from a random biotech company funded by US private equity 🤷
December 28, 2025 at 9:27 AM
This absolutely isn't having a go or trying to make any kind of point it's a genuine question. I often see US teachers asking people to buy basic teaching resources - why isn't this provided by the state? The US is the richest country in the world?!
December 27, 2025 at 11:13 PM
Why are Americans, of all parties or political persuasions, not up in arms about the very basics of their constitution being destroyed?? I can't get my head around it.
December 26, 2025 at 1:58 PM
This whole case was always going to come to some sort of head around the 2026 Scottish election, it's so embarrassingly predictable. 4+ years and nearly £3m of public money to find that Peter Murrell spent indy donations on the wrong thing.

Imagine sinking this low. The way to tackle misogyny is to send immigrants home 👍 She's just shown she doesn't care one bit about misogyny or wouldn't be using it to scratch a few votes out of her long gone voter base. There isn't a job in the world I'd sell my soul for like this.
December 18, 2025 at 6:13 PM
This is exactly my thoughts, for some bizarre reason it's fallen on teachers to correct what kids are hearing at home and online? How naive.

But individuals booking flights can take the risk of breaking GDPR if they want, it's not a law America has anything to do with?
December 14, 2025 at 7:59 PM
The mental gymnastics of the daily mail reader are really something. 'Get rid of these polish immigrants ruining our country', polish people leave, 'look polish people are leaving, must be due to our country being crap because of all those other types of immigrants!' 🤯
December 13, 2025 at 11:16 PM
And GDPR has got nothing to do with America, it's up to the traveller to take that risk and I think many will
December 13, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Sorry I don't understand what you're saying? I'm saying plenty football fans will give the information freely / make social media public so they can still go to the world cup? Especially if they've just spent a fortune on flights etc
December 13, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Well given the BBC basically got rid of lineker for voicing political opinions I would have thought rylan would be ruled out on that basis? Given he did it on telly whilst working rather than on his own non-affiliated social media account.
December 13, 2025 at 5:10 PM
I don't think it would put many off, anyone who was willing to pay the ridiculous prices is obviously a big football fan. The world cup will just cushion the tourism impact so he can say - look people still come here. Plus many people booked last week before this was announced so will be tied in
December 13, 2025 at 4:57 PM
It's anyone who needs any visa even a holiday one
December 13, 2025 at 4:55 PM
I already know one person who had already booked and has permanently deleted all their social media as they don't want the risk of being turned away when they arrive
December 13, 2025 at 4:40 PM
It might be my algorithms on Facebook or whatever but when i see some of the most cruel racist ignorant comments and check the profile it's some normal, kind looking woman in her late 50s who was proud of the NHS during covid and has lots of pics of her cavapoo.
December 6, 2025 at 12:03 PM
SNP need to be telling people this a lot more.
November 26, 2025 at 8:48 PM
I mean looking at current election polls yes, if I was young and child free I'd be out of here asap
