Wordsmith. Questions everything. Lives in a bubble where we all get along and care about each other. Don't trust anyone over thirty.*

* I remember that from the 1960's. Seems like good advice today.
I'm beginning to think the guys running the #DepartmentofWar have been playing too much #Fallout. But it has me thinking: if the US military is committed to Greenland, Syria and Venezuela according to Putin's plan, Russia could theoretically overrun Alaska. UKR/NATO would laugh their asses off.

I think Sam has it. There are stray spots on the paper/scan. I blotted them out, then highlighted what looks like "In" and "W". Can't tell which was first. I will note the center peak of the W is higher than others on the page, and the top right of the W bends to the right. Correction by another?

Dear #NewYorkTimes: a broken clock is right twice a day. It doesn't prove the clock is accurate, it shows you can't discern the difference between a working clock and a broken one. Don't legitimize this fool *at all*. It isn't "news", it's a disservice to public health, even if he's right once.

Ellie spent all day sleeping in the wreath, bringing the stowage of Christmas decorations to a grinding halt. It was worth it. 😸

@dougjones.bsky.social Ignore the Stancil guy and pay attention to what Kat is doing. She's putting a campaign together that says "I care" with works, not words. It's brilliant. Her opponent either joins in and everyone benefits, or her opponent mocks her and loses the common voter. Just a hint.

May I suggest, for Madam's consideration, a three step safety ladder that folds away flat but includes a grip rail to assist in maintaining balance...

So if Congress is on permanent vacation and the courts are shut down and (presumably) on extended vacation... who can act as a check on Executive power? If tomorrow night Orangelo declares himself king, what are we gonna do, sue? The doors are locked! Congress can't write checks. We are overthrown!

Twin sisters superbonded and inseparable (they do everything in unison like they are psychically merged or something!). Will always keep bonded cats from now on, the enjoyment is exponentially greater. Ironically so is the time spent keeping the litter box clean.

Who writes these headlines? "We got him" makes it sound like the teen died in a hail of bullets from all directions, but really the teen was arrested and the 82 year old grandmother died in the crossfire. Perhaps adding "who" after grandmother would clarify it?
