Our structure determination of a dopamine-binding DNA aptamer yielded surprising results. The structure had only 2 Watson-Crick base pairs, but lots of base pairs normally only seen in RNA folds. Check out our crazy DNA structure in the recent bioRxiv preprint, along with other binding details.

First night at the yearly conference in the Swiss Alps after a lively poster session. The scenery is as pretty as always, and the snow this year looks great!
