My hubby and I only adopt senior dogs. They deserve all the love and support we have to give. Nothing better than an old dog living his best life (which usually means snuggling on my lap for a snooze).

Yep a paper bag. A bit of butter on the tps of the wings and drumsticks keeps it from sticking to the bag. No lid. Works every time.

She reminds me of our dog Sam. We called him Samulus of Clan Dogulus.

My mom always cooked her turkey in a paper bag. Never basted, always fall apart tender.

Please also include assisted living housing. My son needs assisted living and has been on the waiting list for almost 2 years and we expect the wait could be a few years more. Luckily he can live at home for now but my husband and I are retired and may not be able to help him for long enough.

Again most disabled do not pay taxes as our income is too low. Please don't forget us!!

I'm the one who never remembers how to boil an egg or cook rice. I always have to look it up. I'm Canadian, so I'll just say I'm sorry!

This is all great news, but please don't forget about the disabled. We've had it so bad for so long, and even with the new CDB, which you can only get if you qualify for the Disability Tax Credit, we are still often below the poverty line. We can't wait for the help we need.

While there are many good aspects to this budget I see nothing for the disabled. We keep waiting.

I know and it makes me sad. Each of those other groups could save money being together wroth the library instead of having to rent or buy a building.

In our small town someone in need has to go all over town of they need more than one service. But if they could just go to the library and access mental health clinic, food bank, Service Canada if they need help with taxes, social services, etc., we've just made it easier for everyone!

He used to play football in the CFL. Calgary I think.

Why can't the library be the center for all social services like food banks (which I wish we didn't need), employment centers, etc?

We have a local restaurant that I love. If I don't order from there at least once a week they check to make sure I'm ok!

French's makes an awesome ketchup.

Even better, why don't we make everyone take such a course?
November 9, 2025 at 11:27 PM
What if we made children take a special registered course on social media, like we do for driving?
