I mean, this one's a free demo, so if anyone is convinced by what they're seeing here, why not let them give it a shot? And as for full game, eh, ik it was pretty disastrous, but if they keep adding content, I'm sure it'll be at least of some value.

Nah, if people want to play it, let them. I'm sure even the crappiest game has some fans, and I don't even think this one is the crappiest overall lol. Plus if they think it can make a comeback, they're free to try. NMS and Cyberpunk seemed doomed too at first.

Haven't yet played it, but I have faith in TCR's work based on their previous games. But yes, I did expect this one would underperform, especially after such a long development cycle.

I dislike it honestly; it seems to imply that physical media is outdated due to its association with "back then". I mean, it's in line with MS' marketing overall, but I don't dig it at all personally.

I'd have enjoyed it more if it wasn't so absurdly difficult honestly. It was soooo painful to progress through lol. But I do admit the game has a charming retro vibe, in addition to some pretty funny quips in the cutscenes and a cool artstyle.

I don't disagree in the slightest, and I said, I rather enjoyed the game. I really missed this type of more linear third-person action-aventure games that are quasi-extinct nowadays. But can players change their expectations? Rather unlikely imo.

I understand what you're saying, but it outdated in a technical sense, i.e., from a gameplay, graphical, and animation perspective. That doesn't make it bad tho. Outdated and fun are not at all mutually exclusive.

It's not as bad as people said honestly. It's a solid linear action-aventure game, sort of like the PS3-era Uncharted games. The design feels outdated, sure, but I still had a lot of fun with it.

I think that was more of a lifetime estimate, including future EA Play subscribers and Gamepass subscribers, so I don't think it's too bad of a start honestly. Once it gets added to those services, I could easily see the player numbers bump up quite a bit.
