💬 On 22 September, CDT Europe and @opengovpartnership.org brought together around 50 representatives from civil society, European institutions, Member States and regulatory authorities to discuss the implementation status of the #AIAct.

In the afternoon, the first high level panel explored the AI Act’s next phase: guidance, standardisation, enforcement and the protection of fundamental rights. Two parallel break-out sessions then dived deeper into the Member State and EU institutional perspectives.

The day began with a closed-door Civil Society Roundtable – a chance for CSOs to reconnect after the summer and reflect on enforcement and implementation challenges ahead.
