I really like the framing of why “can llms do x” is the wrong question and the inversion of Goodhart’s law here

It definitely gets easier, but there’s a bit of a learning curve. Try to be patient with yourself if you can!

That makes sense! And thank you for linking to the blog post, I hadn’t seen it before. It’s definitely reassuring to hear about when experienced writers encounter similar challenges — it combats the feeling of “I don’t know what I’m doing and thus can’t do this”

If I may ask — what do you focus on in the lesson? I struggle with this a lot myself and I’m always interested in ways to address the problem!

Row tightness like that often comes from accidentally pulling more on the yarn as you go. You might want to try smaller blocks of fabric where you just focus on stitch consistency — always maintaining the same amount of tension is also a skill that one needs to learn in knitting!

The Democratic Party is out there trying to pick the perfect candidate like they look up the perfect coffee-maker on wirecutter. If they have this doodad and that price point, they’re a winner.

That’s not how politics works. It’s a game we play together, not catalogue shopping.

I love the color scheme on this, and the way you’ve incorporated printed text in the background!
