Reading is something I've done every night for at least the past 25 years. I've read some great books, and some that I really had to work at getting through. I love it when I find an author whose story brings me in. Unfortunately, that can lead to 3am or later sleep times 🤣

My ferritin is supposed to be at least 45, it was 4.
Symptoms: Unexplained fatigue, 𝑨𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, Restless legs syndrome, and Reduced sleep quality.

I will get that part in Zézita... it will not beat me!
It's not really a difficult line, but for some reason my brain rebels against that pattern of notes. I will go back to what I learned when learning something difficult... walk it like a baby.

Afternoons like I had yesterday with friends, learning music, and enjoying conversation, really help me to believe in myself and my Portuguese. I couldn't understand everything, but I could understand enough to follow along.

One day at a time 💪🥰

I'm in a happy place right about now. It's not quite the same, but it's close enough that my taste buds are dancing. Added some BBQ sauce and I'm just missing my momma's sweet coleslaw. Nom nom nom!

Had a nice lil giggle when I saw this in Lidl today. "American Way"
The guys rated the disc 3 stars (really greasy), but Zak added another star for the cheese dip.

Xena does not believe me. Otis is getting the long screw removed today, so no food. Xena is patiently waiting for feijão verde.

Wow. Worth the read.
Please read and share.
A must-read. This’d be worth creating a Facebook account just to read—and I know what a claim that is to make.

It’s a bracing essay about Elon Musk by someone very close to him.

(This is very much _not_ about me, of course, but I’ll say that if you ever doubted my writing on Musk, this will help.)
Philip Low
I have known Elon Musk at a deep level for 14 years, well before he was a household name. We used to text frequently. He would come to my birthday party and invite me to his parties. He would tell me....

Trump's deportation flights are draining military resources—costing up to $852,000 each, far more than DHS alternatives. With no reimbursement, the Pentagon is forced to divert funds from other critical priorities. This waste will have real consequences.

Expats and Immigrants Living Portugal...Many of us can vote in local elections. It helps our freguesias when we do. It results in a larger census, and funds for fregusias.
*Americans (unless you are a citizen of PT) cannot vote. So since I can't vote, I'm passing on the correct information counts!

Nailed it
Dems would get much more traction finding and promoting people saying what they know and experience.

What has more impact, This man speaking his mind or the Dems speaking “in unison “ ?
You guys need to see this and take it in…

Wise words from someone who is a target. And he’s been listening.
