i think it's so stupid bc it's not *literally* reading but that doesn't mean it's inherently bad, nor is reading inherently good like you said (if it's a particularly harmful book). like it's good to consume good books in audio or visual form but it's ok to say audiobook listening ≠ reading

they do this and the game explodes for casuals, creators, everyone benefits. almost like we've been asking as a community for this for years bc of that.
