September 2nd, 2025I was lead to believe everyone wanted to “drain the swamp.” This is one of the grossest swamps I’ve ever come across.CoreCivic is the nation’s second largest private for profit pris0n company in America. We the people pay companies like them, with our tax dollars, to incarcerate people. They aren’t spending their money, they spending our money. It’s Monopoly money to them.This for profit prison does not care who ends up in their beds as long as every bed is filled because they make money for every body. The tax payers are paying billions of dollars to make corporations more billions of dollars. We pay for ICE to kidnap people, then tax payers are paying companies like CoreCivic to house and transport them, and then they contract their “free” labor out to corporations who can now pay workers $1hr instead of $5+ hr. Then tax payers pay full price for the goods our tax dollars subsidized while the corporations just triple dipped the American workers pockets. And it didn’t cost them a thing to do it. CoreCivic is a business. They aren’t interested in making people comfortable. Every dollar they spend on someone’s comfort is a dollar they don’t pocket and they don’t see the human beings in these places as anything more than cattle. The intention of this government and companies like this is to completely replace the American work force. Once all these centers are built they will always be full, no matter what.
