As an "average" Canadian on the ground, I can say that the mood here is F* that guy. F* the ones who voted for him. F* the ones who didn't vote. And for the rest of the Americans, Vive la résistance.

It took them way too long to embrace the e-business model. Canadian Tire and London Drugs seem to have figured out how to serve Canadian customers a lot faster than HBC. This happened to a lot of department stores and they could have changed course at any time in the last 20 years.
